WOD - Woodley NDB 2nd March 2003 This made an interesting trip as it's right next to the Berkshire Museum of Aviation in Woodley Green which I also visited. The area has aviation history relating to the old Woodley Aerodrome and FG Miles. The NDB is down a private residential drive - Sandford Manor Drive - which is off Sandford Lane. It's incongruously situated between two houses. Woodley is just east of Reading - right by the start of the A329M. (Click on the small images for the bigger originals) |
